What is RISA Connect?

RISA Connect is a web-based messaging service for the thoroughbred industry providing a simple, low-cost way of communicating via SMS, email, voice and fax.

Messages can be formatted in keeping with your existing communications, while lists can be drawn from RISA’s industry racing material sources or an existing data source. The system can be fully self-service or RISA can send messages on your behalf.

Extensive reporting is available at the end of each broadcast detailing the number of messages successfully delivered. RISA Connect is available to principal racing authorities, race clubs and other industry organisations.

 

Uses for RISA Connect

RISA Connect provides an easy way to connect with numerous stakeholders, including:

Owners - Provide information to owners with a horse running on a meeting-by-meeting basis.
Members - Inform club members of important events, dates and other announcements.
Staff - Use 3-way SMS to contact staff and confirm rostering arrangements.
Trainers - Notify trainers of time-critical information such as late venue changes or cancellation of race meetings.

 

Integrate with your existing software, databases & web sites

RISA Connect has been designed to integrate with your existing technology. Lists can easily be imported from a number of common file formats.

For users wanting to automate this integration, RISA Connect has an API (application programming interface). This allows your programs to access RISA Connect’s extensive functionality.

Costs

RISA Connect is available on a low cost-per-usage basis, with no minimum spend or other up-front fees. Charges are only applied where a message is successfully delivered.
