
What is the
TTSC?
The TTSC is a
separate division of RISA which supports trainers through
the provision of specialised accounting services and an
ASIC/lead regulator compliant horse racing scheme
syndication service (where shares are offered).
TTSC Horse
Syndication
The TTSC provides a
simple low-cost syndication service to assist trainers
and other syndicators to comply with the requirements of
ASIC and the relevant lead regulator where a syndicate
issues shares.
The TTSC offers both a
compliance only service centred around the preparation
of the Product Disclosure Statement (TTSC performs the
functions of Promoter and Manager under ASIC Class Order
[CO 02/319] for syndicates with 20 or fewer investors or
where the value does not exceed $250,000) and a
marketing service focussed on the promotion of shares to
potential buyers.
TTSC
Accounting Services
The TTSC provides
you with specialised, industry-based accounting services
designed to save you time and money in the day-to-day
running of your business. Specific services include accounts
payable, accounts receivable, payroll and reporting.
AFS License
Details
– The TTSC holds an
Australian Financial Services License (No. 288 213) with
authorisation to provide product advice and deal in horse
racing schemes
– The TTSC is not
authorised to provide personal advice (being advice that
takes into account a person’s objectives, financial
situation and needs) in relation to horse racing schemes
– The TTSC does not
charge for general advice relating to the acquisition of an
interest in a horse racing scheme
– The TTSC’s charges
are detailed in the relevant Product Disclosure Statement
How does the
service work for horse racing schemes?
Compliance only service
For the low cost of
$3,212 (inc. GST) the TTSC provides a compliance only
syndication service comprising the following:
– Preparation of the
PDS for approval by the lead regulator
– Issue the PDS to
potential investors
– Keep accounting
records for each individual horse racing scheme
– Lodge accounts for
each approved horse racing scheme with ASIC and the lead
regulator as required
– Maintain a separate
account for depositing and paying all monies relating to
each horse racing scheme’s operation
– When fully
subscribed, register the horse racing scheme with the
lead regulator
– When not fully
subscribed repay monies received
MARKETING service
Optional services
charged in addition to the compliance only fee include:
– Providing a detailed
marketing plan recommending where the syndicate should
be advertised
– Assisting with
preparation, creation and booking of advertisements
relating to the scheme
