Charles Macek Charles Macek - Independent Director and Chairman
Charles is Chairman of Sustainable Investment Research Institute Pty. Ltd. and Orchard Funds Ltd. He is a director of Wesfarmers Ltd. and a member of the Investment Committee of Unisuper Ltd. He is vice-chairman of the Standards Advisory Council attached to the International Accounting Standards Board and, a member of the ASIC External Advisory Panel. He was a director of Telstra from 2001 until his retirement in November 2009. He was Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council 2003-2007 and was a member of the NZ Accounting Standards Review Board 2005-2007. He is a former Chairman of IOOF Ltd and a former Director of Living Cell Technologies Ltd.

Howard Powell has held a number of executive management & general management positions with over 44years in business. The companies included IBM, Telstra, Fujitsu & Lexmark International. He also started the government business division of the Computer Power Group which was sold to USA interests in 1996. He has a Science degree with majors in pure Mathematics & Physics. He was made a Member of the Order Australia with an AM honour in 1994 for services to the ICT Industry. Howard has had a long term interest in thoroughbred racing as an owner, breeder & is an elected member of the committee of the Canberra Racing Club. He served as Canberra Racing's Chairman for 4 years from 2002 to 2006.
