Pre Race

Nominations, Weights and Acceptances (including form and jockey silks) are published upon public release once finalised by RISA or the Racing Department of the Principal Racing Authority dependent on the state/territory.

The closing date and time for Nominations, Weights, Acceptances and Scratchings is set by the Principal Racing Authorities.

The RISA Service Centre is open every day of the year excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day. (The only two days of the year on which race meetings are not held).

Real time Scratchings are as lodged via the RISA Service Centre (1) or lodged via trainers using StableAssist 24/7 365. (2)

The scratchings are then published (updated) real time in the body of the race field and are also available via the separate scratching update page.

Post Race

RISA receives from the Principal Racing Authorities or Race Clubs the TAB race meeting Race Results within 30 minutes of correct weight being called per race and then publishes the full race result as an interim result on the RISA website and mSite.

For some Non TAB race meetings dependent on the remoteness of the race track the Race Results are received by RISA upto 24 hours after the race meeting. These Race Results are published by RISA as soon as they are received.

Alternative Free and expanded Subscription Services

RISA also provides the alternative RSB free service and additional subscription services via RISA Form and RSB Subscriptions.

Pedigree Reporting

RISA has partnered with equineline.com to provide free five-cross pedigrees with interactive nicking. This service enables Australian visitors to the RISA website to obtain extensive world-wide pedigree information from equineline.com, an internationally trusted source for pedigrees, breeding and sales information.

RISA Web Hosting and Development Services

RISA provides fully hosted real time 24/7/365 Racing Materials publications of Fields, Form and Results (Including real time scratching) for a number of industry organisations including:

RISA has developed an sms and email tool which delivers updates directly to industry participants such as Trainers, Owners and Jockeys.

RISA Service Centre Hours of Operation

RISA recognises and understands that the Thoroughbred Racing Industry is a 365 day of the year 24 hours per day operation.

(1) The RISA Service Centre standard hours of operation are:

7am – 5pm (AEST) Monday-Friday

6:30am – 10am (AEST) Weekends & National Public holidays

(2) Between 10am- 3pm (AEST) Weekends & National Public Holidays RISA provides Steward contact services and other support services for industry functions RISA performs.

(3) Outside standard hours of operation RISA adjusts based on the programming requirements of PRA’s when setting the closing date and time of race meetings.

(4) Closed Christmas Day & Good Friday (Emergency Support for Stewards and other support services for industry functions RISA performs.

Note (A) Scratchings lodged via Stable Assist for Group 1 races and all races in the Northern Territory require the approval of the Stewards. For scratchings lodged outside the standard hours of operation for the RISA Service Centre scratchings once approved by Stewards will be updated including Christmas Day & Good Friday

Note (B) All other services are supported via racing and technical experts with a range of support services available 365 24/7. In other areas of the RSIA business RISA will have members of our team working to deliver services up until the last race 363 days of the year.
